The MAD Museum of Art & Design recently hosted the Singapore launch of the Surface Pro 4 and I was excited to be among those exclusively invited to attend the session.
The debut of the sexy new addition to the Microsoft Surface family was a chance to meet with local artists and creatives in the areas of design, graphic/arts, music and video production.
As they shared their personal Surface stories, it was clear that this iteration of the 2-in-1 device was not only built to equal the power of a laptop, but to deliver potent capabilities that even seasoned creatives are eager tap into!
Here’s a roundup of the top features and benefits of latest, 4th Generation Surface Pro
- Thinner, faster and lighter than any previous Surface Pro (1.69lbs/766 grams)
- Quieter, runs cooler, and more efficient (Intel 6th Generation Core m, i5, and i7)
- Amazing battery life (up to 9 hours for video playback)
- Runs full Windows 10 Pro (compatible with your favourite software & apps)
- Enterprise-level security of Windows Hello (super secure)
- An even better version of the keyboard and pen (1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity!)
- One of the best displays Surface has ever made (5 million pixels)
Surface Pro 4 Singapore prices start at $1399* SGD.
Microsoft Singapore’s new Consumer Channels Group Director, Arthur Huang, shared some exciting news and impressive stats about the uptake of Microsoft devices around the world.
“98% current Surface Pro 3 owners would recommend it to friends and colleagues.”
Apart from the drool-worthy Surface Pro 4, Microsoft has released a new lineup of gadgets Surface Book, Microsoft Band 2, Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 550 with the aim to give people “powerful, magical experiences necessary to do great things”. And with 110 million devices running Microsoft Windows 10 worldwide it looks like they are well on the way to achieving that.
“In just a few short months, it’s been incredible to see more than 110 million devices already running Windows 10”
~Terry Myerson, Executive Vice President, Windows and Devices Group
