What If Life Was An Experiment?
Contributed by Avalyn Lim January 30, 2017
It’s been a while since my last blog post, and here’s why: I’ve recently taken on a number of new projects – consulting with small businesses looking to ramp up to become ready for a period of expansion.
In the course of this work, I’ve encountered opportunities for coaching: Not just for others, but for myself as well!
What I found was this: When facing a range of new experiences, both good and bad, both anticipated and dreaded, what could happen if you looked at them like life was an experiment?
The premise of life being an experiment, and ‘mouldable’ by your focus and intention, is no longer considered to be out there. Quantum physicists have demonstrated that the field of infinite possibility exists; that our experiences can be shaped, with laser point focus, to what we truly want.
So here’s the challenge: For 48 hours starting anytime you read this, write down something that’s challenging you, and imagine that you’re the experimenter, the scientist. Ask yourself “What if?”, and imagine possible ways this situation is serving you – and all the possible ways you can turn it in your favor.
If you just focus on that thought and the possibilities that open up for you when you ask that question, see what happens. I’d love to hear your feedback!
