As a sexologist, I get asked a lot of questions along the lines of what is “normal” sexuality.
What exactly is normal?
Common? Average? Same as others?
Why is being like others important?
Bringing it back to you, are you considered ‘normal’ when it comes to your sexuality?
Why? Are we so interested in keeping up with the Jones that we no longer ask ourselves if we are comfortable with being individuals?
Our sexuality is an expression of who we are, and who we are is as individual as the stars in the sky.
Nonetheless, there is a lot of anxiety and fear when it comes to our sexuality because we have received so little sexuality education growing up, and we are left unsure and uncertain about what to think and where to turn.
My NEW and FREE “Normal Sex” series aims to answer some of commonly asked questions when it comes to sex.
