Claudine Fernandez

Claudine Fernandez is the founder of Artistic Strategies Academy, an educational organization that aims to groom young writers in Singapore through the arts. She also coaches and conducts professional development workshops for teachers and parents to enhance the creative capacities and critical thinking skills of children.

She has been teaching English and Literature since 2007. She holds a Master’s degree in Arts in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is the author of the children’s activity books, Every Child’s Guide to Write Away! (Volumes 1 & 2)

The Greatest Showman, starring Hugh Jackman, was inspired by the real life story of P.T. Barnum, who had built the famous Barnum & Bailey Circus in America. While critics may be scrutinising the historical inaccuracy of the movie, the carnival-like musical offers insights to be gleaned and timely reminders, especially for budding and current entrepreneurs.

There is a range of interesting topics available during our school holiday programmes (in  March, June, September, and November-December). These programmes, which also use the Artistic Writing™ teaching approaches, are the perfect way to ensure that your child is productively occupied while enjoying their break from school.
