Talk about a major snack win! Tasty and healthy – Bliss Balls really do offer bliss with each bite. These delectable raw food snacks offer a burst of energy and a content feeling right through to dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pitted dates
  • 1 small orange, chopped, skin and all, remove pips
  • 1-2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1-2 tablespoons finely chopped ginger
  • 1-2 cups desiccated coconut
  • Sesame seeds for coating

 Method

  • In a food processor, blitz the dates and orange to a smoothie-ish puree
  • Add all other ingredients and blitz until the mixture forms a large, stiff mass
  • Refrigerate for an hour so that it firms up a bit – this makes it easier to roll into balls

  • Put the balls in a bowl of sesame seeds and coat
  • Place in a covered container in the fridge (they will last for two weeks!)

 Enjoy!
