What do you think is the most significant contribution Filipino Women make to the country?
Filipino Women are fortunate to be part of a culture that upholds women in the society, and this allows us to be more productive and more valuable to our Country. We have achieved numerous gains in terms of economic, political and social equality, we have demonstrated perpetual growth and momentum.
I think the most significant contribution that we make to the Country is our ability to be strong, fearless yet nurturing and caring, which is a manifestation of how we are as both a woman and a mother.
We contribute by ensuring that the next and future generations are able to match or surpass what we have achieved by leaps and bounds by ensuring that our children are equipped with the necessary tools to do so. Another significant contribution that we make to the Country is our strong decision making skills, matched with our ability to multi-task, put both of them together and what you get is a woman with a mission to do good things and to do wonders.
What’s your best advice for Filipino women to achieve success?
Some women inspire, some women influence, do both! Never ever give up and lose hope, because it is when you are during your hardest times that your resiliency and strength is built. And remember, where you are now is not your final destination, everything that is meant for you will come when it’s time, as long as you combine hard work, passion, dedication and grit.
