Here’s An Immunity Boosting Drink for Those Who Stood in the Rain

On December 20, 2015, thousands of people lined the streets to pay their last respects to Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. As I watched the funeral procession, I said to my husband, “There will be lots of people who will get sick next week.” But I wasn’t worried. I know of one immunity boosting drink.
The downpour of cold rain mixed with the depleting energy of sadness was bound to cause a wave of illness. A few days later, the posts coming up on Facebook are by people saying they’ve come down with colds, fever and shivers.
I myself was sick and tried healing myself through a variety of alternative therapies such as TCM (acupuncture, Tui Na and herbal drinks), meditation and homemade concoction.
I wish to share with those who have an inclination that they may be falling sick, those who have already fallen sick and those who simply want to maintain their immunity high, this one simple drink that I drink every morning, and in larger quantities when my immunity is down.
Healing and immunity-boosting drink
1 huge chunk of ginger (1 inch if that’s all you want, 2-3 inches if you can take it)
1 lemon, peeled and sliced
1 apple, peeled and cut into chunks
1 ½ cups of water
Blend until well-mixed and smooth. Drink with mindfulness, intending a healing frequency to radiate through your body.
I have used non-organic fruit to make this as affordable as possible. Just nip down to your local wet market and get these 3 ingredients. If you wish to invest more and have a juicer, you can juice the entire lemon, peels and all, as well as the apple unpeeled.
