What do you think is the most significant contribution Filipino Women make to the country?
Filipino women equates to strength. We fought for our place in this table. We sowed sweat, blood and occasional tears. We grew. We blossomed. We worked our way to be where we are today harder than anyone. Yes, we worked hard but amongst all, us Filipino Women standing at the top provides the best example on how we can achieve something if we put our mind into it. We provide the motivation for others to follow. We shape, correct and hone our generation and next to fight for what they deserve, a better life.
What’s your best advice for Filipino women to achieve success?
Do not stop. You fall seven times, stand up eight. Work, work, and work. Never let anyone cool down the flame that ignites you to provide a better life for your family and your country because you are more powerful than you think. And if you get tired, don’t be afraid to rest. Rest is as important as movement. Take your time to enjoy what you have worked for. After all, all hardships are useless if you never had the chance to appreciate the beauty of your journey.
