What do you think is the most significant contribution Filipino Women make to the country?

In this part of the world, Filipino women have made outstanding achievements both in their own business, in the corporate world and in the government sector. Notably, it has been proven that when women are at the helm, it turns into astounding success.

As a matter of fact, Filipino women have been regarded astute not only in business and in corporations but as mothers as well. In this part of Asia, we rank high as we have numerous women that are successful in their chosen field or business where other countries have relegated its womenfolk behind with its prejudices. Filipino women are unafraid to start with a novel idea, to create something that will describe them as smart and innovative, to take further steps to improve on what is sorely lacking and we have just witnessed that as an example, with the community pantry created by a young woman that mushroomed all over the country.

What’s your best advice for Filipino women to achieve success?

Believe in yourself and in your abilities. Make it on your own and never at the expense of another. Do not let your limitations stop you from achieving your goals but turn it into something useful or productive. Limitations should not control you.

Mistakes happen, learn the lessons and move forward. Use your cognitive ability and be wise in your decisions. Accept the challenges and use your brains. We are all created unique and God has given us that particular ability to overcome those challenges. Ultimately, in your decisions, you will make a judgment call and use your discernment to arrive at an informed decision. Remain kind and considerate of people because we do not know others’ circumstances in life.
