SCWO Celebrates International Women’s Day: 4th Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame Gala Dinner – Singapore – March 24 (Event)

Every March, we celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) with a gala dinner and the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame (SWHF) induction ceremony.

IWD was designated by the UN in 1975 as a special day to reflect on the advancements made by women, to consider the challenges faced today, and to access our role in the future.

The SWHF was launched by the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) in 2014 to recognise and salute the outstanding women of Singapore. It is the celebration of the women who have made, or are making, an impact on our nation – the boundary-breakers and record-holders, the risk-takers and change-makers, the role-models and standard-setters.

We hope that you will be able to join us at our gala dinner, and support it either with the purchase of a Donation Table which will be allocated for donations of $5000 and above, or an outright cash donation. All financial contributions are eligible for tax exemption.

Download the response form and return the completed form SCWO through emailing Denise at [email protected] or faxing it to 65-6837-0081.

Join us at the 2017 IWD celebration and

Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Buy a seat or a table, or support us with a donation.

SCWO

The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) is the National Coordinating body of women’s organisations in Singapore. Our 58 Member Organisations represent more than 500,000 women in Singapore.

Incorporated in March 1980, the SCWO, having been founded by women, seeks to unite the various women's organisations, clubs, committees, groups and women leaders together, working in accordance with its various aims and objectives.

The Singapore Council of Women's Organisations seeks to co-ordinate these associations into a national movement and to act on their behalf in matters for which it is authorised by its members.

It seeks to promote the ideals of `Equal Space, Equal Voice and Equal Worth’ for women in Singapore.
