Stone Age Bread


Powered with healthy fats, fiber and protein. Great as is, or toasted, topped with sliced bananas, nut butter, hummus, or preserve … anything goes!


This gluten-free bread is powered with various healthy fats. Walnuts and flaxseeds are high in omega 3 essential oils; almonds and seeds are rich in mono-unsaturated fats; and eggs and coconut oil provide some saturated fats. The bread is also very rich in fiber and protein.

Ingredients

  • 100g sunflower seeds
  • 100g sesame seeds
  • 100g walnuts
  • 100g almonds
  • 100g pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 100g flaxseeds (linseeds)
  • 100ml coconut oil
  • 5 eggs
  • 1½ tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Press batter into loaf pan lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake in the middle of a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 1 hour.
  4. Enjoy!
