Time For Reflection – 6 Months Of Growth

Six months ago today I was wandering the beautiful streets of Stockholm, Sweden, in somewhat of a daze as our little group of four companies was listed with a combined profit of €1.4m in the European Nasdaq.

The six months leading up to that moment were fairly intense. Getting a company ready for IPO is no small task. However, the six months since then have been nothing short of astounding.

Jeremy1 and I’s ambition was to create a platform through the publicly listed vehicle that would attract amazing entrepreneurs. In the six months since ringing the bell nearly 20 more companies have joined The Marketing Group. The profit in the group has grown more than 10x (without a single cent of debt!), but it is the quality of entrepreneurs that have joined which is what makes this such a special journey to be on.

Every day we are inspired by the cool things they are doing with each other in order to serve their clients better.

It is a privilege to be able to hang out with such talented people and to provide a platform that has allowed them to pitch for bigger business, attract new talent, and do more of what they do best – deliver amazing service for their clients.

The next six months is looking even more exciting, and there is no shortage of ambition within this group for incredible growth.

To all the hardworking entrepreneurs that solve problems, create jobs, and get paid last. To all of us.

Bring it on, 2017!
